About the Author
My name is Carolyn Olson, and I am a Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis patient. Up until my diagnosis in July 2009, I have had no serious health problems. In fact, my most serious medical problem was “subchondral cyst formation” caused by my marathon training in 2006. I had no experience with an incurable autoimmune disease, and I had no wish to take pills for the rest of my life.
Most of my friends are unaware of my Hashi’s, as I don’t like that attention, and I don’t like viewing myself as being sick. Of course, I certainly had my bad days feeling very tired, lethargic, foggy, weak, etc. Even then, I had a choice…remain on the couch, or get up and be a wife and mother. Obviously, I chose to get up, and I choose to continue getting up refusing to allow this incurable medical condition take over my life.
Because of the lack of treatment options available for Hashi’s patients, I decided to share my experiences on the web. My goal is to simply share my personal experience using Zrii to treat my Hashi’s symptoms. Making money is NOT my goal, so you will see no ads on my page. I merely provide links to learn more about Zrii, or to try Zrii without any commitment, in case other people wish to try Zrii to treat their own Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis.
I am not a medical professional and any advice given in this blog is meant to be taken as anecdotal evidence of my personal experience using alternative treatments for Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. As I learn more about different alternatives, I will be reporting about it here. I invite you to share your own experience with alternative treatments with other here on this blog too.
